CAMPING
There will be free camping the entire weekend at the Bowen Ranch starting Friday night. You must be out by noon on Monday. There are plenty of spots for tents and limited spots for large RV’s. RV’ers may have to drive over some creosote bushes to find a parking location.
To maintain order and to make sure everyone has a great time, we ask that you follow these simple rules:
- Pack out your trash.
- Use the porta-potties or your RV toilet to take care of #2 issues.
- No campfires, chimeneas, or portable fire pits. We will have a large bonfire pit near the start finish area. Feel free to bring wood or your dead Christmas tree to donate to the fire.
- No generators between 9 pm and 6 am.
HOTELS
Our host hotel is the Hyatt Place just off I-10 near the airport exit. Call 915-771-0022 to make reservations or use this link. This includes breakfast. Please DO NOT stay in a hotel/meth lab on Dyer St.
I am wanting to know a name of a hotel/motel that is closest to the race. Any information would be helpful. Thanks

All the major hotels are near the airport or on the west side of the mountains. Both locations are about the same distance/time away. If you do a google search for El Paso Airport hotels a large list will come up. You want to be able to get onto Hwy 54 in a timely manner in the morning. Saturday morning traffic will be very light. It’s about 25 minutes from the junction of I-10 and 54 to the race venue.
If you are coming from the east, the airport locations will be most convenient. If you are coming from the west or I-25, then search for a location near I-10 and Transmountain Rd. West side visitors will have to drive over transmountain road to the race venue.
There really are NO hotels closer to the venue that are safe. The hotels on Dyer St. are much closer, but they are filled with temporary resident workers and meth labs.
